EUGEO with the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or circumstance. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our websites. This website endeavours to conform to level A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0. We make every effort to ensure that all the content on our site meets this standard too. We are making every effort to ensure that we don’t exclude any users. For example:
The Society’s Inclusion & Diversity Advisory group, made up of representatives from different parts of the Society’s activities, meets twice a year. It reviews the inclusion and diversity elements of the Society’s activities and publications and reports to the Society’s Council. Please contact us if you have questions, if you are having difficulties using the site, or would like to know more about what we are doing to make our websites accessible. Multimedia This website has been designed to make full use of multimedia activities, including Flash activities, movies and sounds. These require that you have the appropriate plugins installed on your computer, including up to date version of Flash. If you do not have the plugin already, you can download Adobe Flash Player here. Resizing the text If you want to, you should be able to resize almost all of the text using your browser controls (a few bits of the text are actually graphic images and therefore have a fixed size). Changing your browser settings You might find the links below helpful if you are unfamiliar with the controls built into your web browser.
